Manual Handling made easy with the new Heavy Duty Spoil Mats
As part of the Work Safe Week, Vemco Group implemented a device across distribution business across Australia for safe manual handling.
These are made exclusively for Vemco Group in the USA. They conform to AS 3668-1989 and have a safe working load of 1350kg. The size of this mat is 2400mm x 2400mm (8’ x8’) and made from heavy duty 24oz vinyl material and strengthened with 50mm heavy duty webbing. They act as a sling when attached to winches and make the transport of dirt, rock and other materials safe, simple, time efficient and cost effective. Also provides usage as a blanket for tools and other items, keeping these items clean, localized and ready for use. Most importantly reduces injuries by eliminating the demanding forces associated with physical labour and repetitive movements.
Vemco Group have already sold a number of these mats into County Energy throughout NSW and is on-test with several other utilities to be added as part of their standard truck fitouts.
